As a younger guy I would drool over speakers like these - classic heavy solid from the 60s.

The facts

Amazingly  built 3 way speakers with genuine Pioneer parts and the 6 drivers are stunning in   copper / gold

The high end with the PT3l horn soars on some jaZZ tracks, such as Eric  Dolphy's Green  Dolphin Street with Freddy Hubbard.

The drivers

PW 302A  bass

PM 122A Sqwawker

PT 3l high (horn)

At 16A attenuator

Massive xover

670mm h

400 mm wide

300 mm deep

Awesome angled black and brassy legs

sound

do you like your music smooth and sophisticated?  Do not buy these speakers.

Want to feel as if you are at the venue, maybe the Five Spot or sitting at a bar listening to Kevin Mo?  These are what you need.

I did my listening with  a 20 watt Sony Ta 86 and barely moved the slider beyond 3.

I don't know.  Have searched.

Probably CS-A31's from 1968. Is the control on the back a big, flat dial (and not much else)?

The name plate should be there above the speaker terminals - any photos of the back panel (inside and out)?
