Help with a new amp/do I lose my phono amp and Bluetooth reciever and go integrated?

Recommended Posts

Hey stereo people,

I'm currently running a pioneer pl514(otofon 2m red cart) on orpheus nexus 2 speakers(occasionally swapped out for aaron ats-5s) my Sony str-dn1040 amp has just decided to die and want to finally step into 2 channel territory as I've gotten rid of the TV and just want to use it for vinyl and Bluetooth.

To go with that amp I have a

cambridge audio azur 551p phono amp and audioengine b1 bluetooth reciever.

Now I'm in the market for a new amp should I just buy something new and fully integrated? and if so any suggestions for under a $1000.

Or should I try and find something older and use my existing phono amp and bluetooth dac?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This in only my second amp purchase and its an important one!!

One more option from the classifieds if the seller is open to splitting the combo in which case the amplifier should come close to your budget. Both the Rega and the CA listed in the previous post will give you very good performance for the money spent.
