Allo Digione Signature Player Raspberry Pi based streamer/music player

This includes a RPi 3 B+, 16Gb micro SD card, 2 x Allo Shanti Ultra Low Noise Linear Power Supplies and Allo Digione S/PIDF transport. Can also supply SMPS it came with.

I had been using Volumio Virtuoso and its native tidal support and BubbleUPnP to stream to the Allo Digione Signature Player

The Digione signature RPi hat requires 2 5V power sources, one is supplied to the RPi (dirty) and the other is for the I2S conversion and S/PDIF reclocking on the Digione signature board. A standard 5V 3A adapter is included to power the RPi, the iFi iPower adaptor and battery pack are included to provide a cleaner power source to the Digione signature board.

Someone will get a nice deal.

The power supply alone is close to this asking price. (shipping is a killer). GLWTS

Thanks Grizaudio! You could always get this a backup ;)

I found that sound quality was improved by using 2 separate Shantis to power clean and dirty side. This is the RPi 3B+ version

I'm a little spoilt and have an RME ADI 2 FS dac.

I have my RPI4 connected via USB.

The RME has a pretty decent USB implementation, and rejects noise and jitter.

Sounds pretty amazing. Although I would be curious to test. ;)

You should try the Ian Canada , Fifo reclocker/Isolator and a transport pi ,with multiple output options including I2S , rca ,bnc and optical , that way you can do away with all the added complexity and sound degradation of usb. This is what I use in my system and it outperforms any usb implementation I have tired.

Hi Andrew,

I just ordered a Digi one player last week directly from Allo. Would have jumped onto this. Bummer.

I would be keen on one of your Shanti power supplies if you are interested to split it up. Let me know  your thoughts.

Thanks

Both items are in very good condition as pictured, stands have couple of minor marks on base.

Not sure as to the model of the stands - they are half-filled with sand so are heavy to lift!

This is the usb recolcker that substantially boosts SQ!!!

The tX-USBultra is one of SOtM’s Ultra Series products and is designed to work with any high end USB audio device. It is a perfect companion for any DAC and the highly-regarded sMS-200 network player. The tX-USBultra greatly enhances the sound quality from any server-side USB port to USB DACs by reducing the ‘jitter’ from your audio host device and presenting the analog elements as natural and dynamic. The mid-low range sounds become more detailed, with a better depth of sound that doesn’t get dragged down. The very low range is also further defined and natural, giving an overall solid performance to your listening experience.

SOTM tX-USBexp Card & sCLK-EX Clock in excellent condition.

RRP $350 USD for the tX-USBexp Card.
RRP $700 USD for the sCLK-EX Clock.

SOtM tX-USBexp is the world’s first PCI express USB 3.0 host interface card designed to perform the ultimate USB audio playback. If you want to use a PC as a hi-end audio source device via a USB connection,  various types of noise should be blocked from the inside the digital devices. To reduce such noise, the tX-USBexp has been designed with the special filter circuits, an Ultra low-noise Voltage regulator, and an ultra-low jitter clock equipped.

tx-USBexp is an excellent USB PCIE card on its own regard. After having its signal fed from the sCLK-EX 48mhz Clock,  the improvement in sound is profound!!!

Note the sCLK-EX Clock is the latest version. It is better and more much more reliable than the old one with a giant capacitor.

No split, they sell as a package.
