Plug and play. Never any strange pops or crackles. (Running with an iPhone XS max, and usually I'm on the latest version of iOS) Link to post Share on other sites

Mat-with-one-t 1,294 Posted December 5, 2020 Share Posted December 5, 2020 A warning - aftermarket ones NEVER work in my experience. Stick to proper Apple. Another nice thing to try is get one of the camera adapters that also has a charge port. You can then go: iphone> Camera adapter (always charging)> USB to spdif converter > DAC in your stereo rig.
