I have this exact model with intentions on replacing it with an LG CX OLED in my study for the new PS5, though if it weren't for HDMI 2.1, I simply would not replace it as visually it's amazing. It's so good that I might even move it to the bedroom. All these years later they're still running strong without a single issue.

I bought my pioneer kuro in 2009...the last one in Sydney I am led to believe. Few other LED TVs have come and gone since then...but the pioneer has stayed. The very best in plasma tech.

Hard to believe there are still so many of these dinosaurs still in existence.  I've also got the exact same model bought new.  It cost me $6200 for $6200, which at the time was an absolute bargain.  It has literally not missed a beat since it arrived and was put on the wall. I recently took it off the wall when house was repainted and decided not to put it back, instead going for an Optoma P2 UST projector and a Vividstorm S-Pro  ALR Screen.  Still not so sure I did the right thing.  Thinking it'll have to go in the bedroom.  It's been to honest and reliable to scrap it or give it away to someone who has no respect for something that was made based on what was the best tech at the time regardless of the cost.

Finally sold mine to get the 65GZ1000 Panasonic Oled....hopefully a worthy replacement. Still have the 65ST60 Panasonic Plasma in another room. Best of both worlds with a 110" screen dropping down in front of the Oled when watching movies on the projector.

Hard to believe someone would actually buy such an old set. Everyone wants a 'Smart TV' these days..

I used to be one of 3 "kuro plasma" specialists but just a fancy name for demo rep for these bad boys.

might have told this story before, but was demoing these babies around the "white collar" arena in airport lounges, first class lounges and high end a/v stores.

I so deseperately wanted one of these plasmas but my tiny casual wage hours didnt support it.

now, this is for sale in QLD and not VIC.

I am crying.
