This special turntable has had one proud owner ~ now at a bargain price. !!

It is trouble free and working like the day it was made. It is quiet, speed accurate and i am happy to audition it to any serious buyer. The reputation they have for sophisticated involving sound is deserved. It is easy to use and has been gradually improved over the years: ~ Featuring :
LP Labs carbon fibre tonearm (California) wired with Van den Hul fine silver litz wire.
KLIE Absolute Harmony RCA Sockets mounted on a replacement wooden block.
Upgraded power lead (VH Audio)  and VH Audio US plug.   You will need a 110v step down.
The original threaded WT Clamp. (very effective).
The original genuine Well Tempered Classic Belt. These are quite sophisticated and these days hard to get.
Marigo Tonearm Tuning dots kit and some mild use of "Black Hole" - energy absorbing contact paper about 2 mm thick. Can be removed if you want.
The original badly resonant arm-rest was replaced with an upright hard wood post several years ago.

It can be sold with or without the Herbie's Audio Way Excellent Turntable mat. $60 price reduction if sold without.

Shelter 7k Cartridge, currently fitted. not included

      original tonearm = coloured sound.

Given the fluids etc, the best transfer method is 'local pickup'. Auditions welcome by appointment.

There are a couple of very minor flaws / chips to the very solid acrylic platter, but underneath the mat, they are invisible and make no sonic difference.
Includes:

Reserve bottles of silicon fluid as pictured - for both tonearm bearing bath and the spindle bearing system. AND a syringe for adding / removing silicon.

Yep, agree, the music it makes is very engaging, with the 'piece de resistance' being the neutral tonal balance, and superb high frequency presentation. Works great with any moving coil cart, and its had Sumilkos, Benz M's, Shelter and thinking back, i may have had a dyna vector 20 years ago. The adjustments handle any compliance, any vta, any tracking force,   Want to change azimuth. while LP is playing ?

Turn a knob !

To ease minds, i  should point out that this turntable can be used with any standard conventional step down transformer. They are available from ebay, Jaycar & other electronics shops and just need a US plug socket, 110v output.  Its not a big issue.
