I have a couple of these in my SB line-up and they are really good.

Remote is the shiny black plastic type ( so no yucky stickyness )

One thing to watch is that the power supplies (wall wart) are a switching type.

One of my SBT's no longer responded to the remote. After a bit of research, a failing power supply was the suspect.

Opened it up and yep, the 3 output caps were swollen and about to pop. ( i did post a thread about it here )

The faulty caps were allowing a lot of noise to be injected that was around the same frequency as the remote IR carrier frequency, which was swamping the signal.

Replaced the caps and good to go !

Anyway, GLWS !
