Esoterica 430
Are you all aware that he believed it was ok to hit a woman? I just learnt this, and from his words, in a Barbara Walters interview.

But turned me off him when I heard it a few years back, men should not do this for any reason.

As the entertainment reporter said, something along the lines of you can admire his work, while also acknowledging the bad. I didn't think much on hearing about his death. Frankly, he lived a long and great life, so I don't feel bad. I liked him in movies but wasn't a favourite by any means. Hearing him actually say he thought it was fine to hit a woman though, WOW. Probably not unlike many men of his vintage.

And deep down I agree that it is never too soon in regards to things like that, I just didn't want to derail the tread with it.

Agreed. Derailing and speaking ill of the dead (which I considered before posting) are not good, I was just a little shocked when I saw the clip of the interview where Connery said it, and wanted to share the info. bob_m_54 1,531
R.I.P. Sir Sean. I must admit I was never a big fan of the 007 movies, but I did liked his acting in just about everything else I saw him in. A legendary actor of the old school type.
