rantan
How utterly sad. A great actor and a great human being, who lived a full and meaningful life. Now it's time for the big sleep Sean. R.I.P.

RIP Without a doubt one of his greatest movies. Deserves every one of 82 viewings. Such a great loss to film and humanity. Cheers to you Sir Sean Connery. Esoterica
Are you all aware that he believed it was ok to hit a woman? I just learnt this, and from his words, in a Barbara Walters interview.

But turned me off him when I heard it a few years back, men should not do this for any reason.

As the entertainment reporter said, something along the lines of you can admire his work, while also acknowledging the bad. I didn't think much on hearing about his death. Frankly, he lived a long and great life, so I don't feel bad. I liked him in movies but wasn't a favourite by any means. Hearing him actually say he thought it was fine to hit a woman though, WOW. Probably not unlike many men of his vintage.
