I received the Ares from Stav, "The DACman" (Great Guy!), several days ago and have been listening to it continuously. I decided that, to my mediocre ear anyway, my AudioLab DAC sounds just as good.
I spoke to Stav, "The DACman", and the Ares II is now out of stock here and in Singapore. If you want one for Christmas, I'll express ship this one at no charge. I paid $1,399 and will include the invoice with the sale. If you want to use PayPal (not friends and family) there's a 2.6% fee that I will pass on to you. PayPal friends and family is free and fine.
Just to be clear, the device is 4-days old, absolutely perfect, and the 3-year warranty is transferable to the new owner. Warranty claims are handled in Australia, by The DACman in Melbourne, so shipping to Singapore is avoided.
Save a couple of hundred dollars and avoid the wait!

I bought a load of fancy inner sleeves over lockdown and have this stack of the previous ones if anyone needs them. A real mix of "vintage", nearly new, paper, plastic, square and half moon ones. We'll over 100 there in total. All in perfectly adequate condition, some are basically brand new.
The knackered ones went in the recycling but I thought I'd check if anyone wanted some/all of these before they went the same way. Feel free to come pick out the ones you want.
