Eth Nick
How great was this news - LOTR coming December 1 (November 30). I don’t normally go for steelbooks, but this version seems like the perfect set for what’ll most likely be my final physical purchase of this trilogy... If that does end up being ridiculously priced though, the regular box set will do... Then there’s the Amazon gift set for those after a little merch... https://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/lord-of-the-rings-4k-the-hobbit-4k-coming-december-1st/45490 Edited October 17, 2020 by Ralfi

Eth Nick
Reviews are VERY positive. Hoping this sneaks in JBs sale, a day prior to official release.

JB website release date 2 Dec, sale ends 1 Dec. I am sure many of you are in the same boat, all of us making Peter Jackson very rich. Watched in theatre, DVDs, DVD extended box set, Blu Ray extended box set. Soon 4K...
Quark
JB usually puts out new releases in store of a Monday, so there may be a chance to get a sale price - will probably vary from store to store.

That’s why I mentioned that I was hoping the trilogy would be released a day prior to its official released date - so that it may be included in the sale. I won’t get my hopes up though! groovem
I'm going to get one of those gift cards from Coles with 15% off until 1 December. I'll use that at JB to purchase the trilogy.

They weren't sure if they were getting any more before sale finishes.

By using the 'HIM' gift card to pay for them, which are 15% off on special at Coles this week (I bought $500 of these gift cards last Wednesday at 7am when my local Coles opened... They were all gone by 8am.)
