Citroen
XAVIER RUDD - Solace When I first heard this in 2004 I instantly fell in love with Xavier. Didn't know it has been released on vinyl (in 2014) so have ordered a copy.
MoveD
Doves - Some Cities 2019 Reissue White Vinyl I’ve always enjoyed this album, a long awaited vinyl reissue. Finally got a copy at a reasonable price. Usually asking $71.99 what a ripoff! $45.30 is much more reasonable. Also got their debut Lost Souls on grey vinyl at $40.70 back in January which was a steal! Both great SQ and highly recommended if you can get them cheaply. Both are of very good and quiet GZ pressings. Edited August 21, 2020 by MoveD

keyse1
About 45 years ago I remember buying this ELVIS and COSTELLO Sitting outside the import record store in the Elizabeth Arcade in Brisbane listening to this because of the name and the weird looking guy on the cover Better records followed but your affection for first times never really goes away

MoveD
It’s a cold evening and nearly dinner time, so some nice Lambchops seems like a good idea! Is A Woman 2014 Reissue This (Is What I Wanted To Tell You) 2019 Lambchop vinyl always sounds superb! This(IWIWTTY) has some serious low bass... Doppelganger
one of my favourites of the 80’s. Original copy a bit noisy so invested in the reissued boxset from a few years ago.
cazzesman
Thanks to Mike Varney this CD saw the return of Glenn Hughes to recording after his rehab from his internal demons. Brilliant vocal album. Hughes at his very peak. Regards Cazzesman
Steffen
Not a regular visitor of this particular genre, but the Q-Sound mixing and 3D effects on this album keep me coming back. Quite remarkable for purely analog processing.

I almost ordered one during the first lockdown, but was put off by the uncertainty with shipping. Still considering it as it is a fave, even though my copy is OK. RankStranger
I taught myself to play guitar to this album. Started with the 3 chords of To Her Door and just kept going until I ran into a chord I couldn’t play then learned how to play it and kept going. Time was I could play every note of every song and these are still the canonical versions of most of these songs for me. Haven’t listened for ages because somewhere along the way i lost disc one and I moved on to other stuff, as you do. Just saw they did a vinyl release a couple of years ago so that might be a good solution. Anyway, that’s my story.

Justin The remastering is good and it’s well pressed and packaged but if my original Aussie copy was in better shape, I probably would have stuck with it. Cracking album, whichever version you have!
