Enigma - MCMXCD

Big fan of this one. I was lucky enough to pick up the entire back catalogue of Enigma on vinyl a little while ago - terrific stuff.

This could be rock musics most baffling mystery

How on earth did an enjoyable minor Beatle song become such an extraordinary gut busting performance like this

Imagine being a teenager in the 60’s and not listening to lyrics

imagine not knowing what this song was about

imagine being on the censorship board

imagine dying without ever knowing

Some things are beyond imagination
Some things defy the imaginary

Such as this song and how it ever got to number 1

Holiday in Waikiki

😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

The song starts with the sound of waves breaking

I might have to delete it off the computer because I immediately start thinking of you know who

and laughing at the Monty Pythoness of it all

Skunkhour - Feed -- a blast from the past, yoinked from the $0.50 pile today (actually I think that I already have the CD in a box somewhere but it's cheaper to buy at this price than waste time searching). This is mid-1990s acid jazz with a touch of funky rawk, so it sounds kinda like DIG then kinda like RHCP.

I feel like I’ve gone from being obsessed with this album in the 90s to being like there were so many great albums of that era it’s not even the best Nirvana album to oh damn what a great rock album that I can enjoy enthusiastically without baggage.

time is good.

Knievel - No One's Going To Understand In My Way -- another yoink from the $0.50 pile yesterday ... this is a 2002 release from Sydney band featuring Wayne Connelly, who did a lot of production work for Aussie 1990's bands. It's literate jangle indie rock, which was the style at the time.

Morning All,

Was listening to the Spotted Peccary Music, Ambient Sampler, name your price on Bandcamp, whilst having breakfast.
