Almost 50 years since I bought this record

Can’t describe how exciting it was

Bought it at the import store in The Elizabeth Arcade in Brisbane

Must have read about it in Rolling Stone and I remember sitting outside in the arcade listening to it and being undecided about it but knowing that there was something there to but it anyway

At that time it was mostly singer songwriter sort of angst or country rock records that I was buying in real time

i must have played it hundreds of times in a short space of time

Those wonderful pre responsibility days

I saw Springsteen twice in 75

Once in America pre Born To Run and a few months later post Born To Run in London from the second row at the Hammersmith Odeon

45 years later it remains the best rock n roll concert I’ve ever seen only rivalled by Leonard Cohen this century

Bravo Australia.

Dylan Henner - Great Prairie Plains: Studies of American Minimalism -- recent release on the Dauw label, containing covers of two minimalist works: the seminal "In C" by Terry Riley and a more obscure piece from Su Tissue's "Salon de Musique", arranged for piano, marimbas, synths, etc. Noice. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp for a short time.
