Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid.
I might be late to the party, but I'm really loving these guys more with every listen. No dud albums that I've come across! [emoji38] 0f784937e0fd5d5b4011e7f9e55f79e0.jpg

Just having a break from vinyl because I only have this collection on CD

Although I like all 11 titles in my collection these 2 are my favourites

Artist - Van De Graff Generator

Title 1) - Godbluff

Title 2) - Still Life

Happy to list all my VDGG Titles if anyone is interested

The Tremeloes Reach Out For The Tremeloes MFP 1973 Australia. Spinning on the TT I found in an op shop on the way home! Yes it works!

Cowboy's lament Gordon McRae WRC T334 UK, Release date, who knows when & who even cares.... Has to be 200g+ wt vinyl, but not my cup of tea, sounds like a country version of Dean Martin X John McCormack....

Rashad Becker - Traditional Music of Notional Species vol 1

LP on PAN. Such a beautiful piece of wax, feels stiff and heavy like a shellac disc in the hand. The edge of it is a flat 90 degrees with sharp edges. Really flat and super quiet. Very nice.

This is bizarre electronica to test your system with, pretty dynamic for electronica with fantastic textures and holographic depth. I'll have the second vol in my hands pretty soon.

I like Still Life, but find Godbluff a bit of a tough listen. I think my fave VDGG would be World Record with the 20 minute prog/reggae jam.

Yes - Good call Geoff

I like World Record as well

While we are on the subject I also have a near complete collection of

Peter Hamill releases - at last count it's 36 Titles

I've got about a dozen Peter Hamill CDs in a box somewhere.  Haven't listened to 'em yet.

His original backing band, The Bluecaps, had one of the great rockabilly guitarists in Cliff Gallup. He was so good Jeff Beck had trouble playing some of his riffs on a tribute album.

cheers
