Dylan Henner - Great Prairie Plains: Studies of American Minimalism -- recent release on the Dauw label, containing covers of two minimalist works: the seminal "In C" by Terry Riley and a more obscure piece from Su Tissue's "Salon de Musique", arranged for piano, marimbas, synths, etc. Noice. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp for a short time.

Or did you buy it because of Robbie Fulks ?

Enjoying the remaster CD because of the convenience and quality of the songs, but the original vinyl is still the go-to.

For an excellent example of the reviewer's art, here's Allmusic's wrap of REM. All you need in 300 words. For all the jokes about drummers being dispensable, in truth Bill Berry was essential as REM's bullsh*t detector and filter.
