Despite being a record and sound obsessive ?Neil remains one of my favourite human beings and this website is far and away the best music site on the internet

Its clunky to the point of funny to use but just fine for old people who don’t confuse shiny and new with quality

Its as clunky to use as a record player ?which knowing Neil is the point

For $20 bucks a year access to every piece of music he has made with new bits added on an ad hoc basis

This is from the early 70’s and includes songs I’ve never heard or read about

La Lusid

Self-titled

2019

Swedish 5 piece indie band. I love the singer Paulina Palmgren’s soothing voice. Surprised myself I played this a lot last year. The blue vinyl also sounds terrific! Don’t think many knows about them so please check them out. ?

Christian Kjellvander

Songs From A Two Room Chapel

2019 Reissue

Original release 2002. Another Swede I discovered last year. Scandi-alt-country/folk/rock. His voice is addictive.

Ripley Johnson, of Wooden Shjips/Moon Duo, anonymously released his Rose City Band project iin 2019 with a limited-edition LP that included almost no technical information. The band was mostly just Johnson, joined by a few friends to flesh out recordings of his stripped-down psychedelic country 60s/70s Laurel Canyon
