Eberhard Weber - Chorus

Bought this a while back without hearing it. Very much enjoying it. Don't have the patience for ambient but the instruments I think in this case make this enjoyable - would be interested to hear rec's of similar albums...

Might have to have a listen to be persuaded. Not into ambient. Mogwai is about as ambient as l go.?

This finally arrived. I'd heard one song on a compilation years ago and loved it.

Could never find out much about them or any more music, then finally I found a CD online. It's a little bit country sounding but mostly rock sounding, some brass sounds too.

Rich Hopkins And Luminarios - El Ostra Lado/The Other Side

This is the song I heard, it's on the album.

Hindu Love Gods (c. 1990) - pour yerself a whisky...if that's ya thing...and kick back with this kinda grungy dirty blues rock from R.E.M.  My fave tracks...#3 Raspberry Beret (Prince cover)....#4 Crosscut Saw (Tommy McLennan cover)...and especially #6 Mannish Boy (Muddy Waters cover...with a George Thorogood / Bad to the Bone vibe). Yeah!!! ?

noice...been meaning to check that out!  Made me whip out Half Mile Harvest and spinning that now, on CD.  Good production values on that too ?
