It's been a new music day today.  And a good new music day it's been.

Alaskan Tapes, Nine Inch Nails, Vinnum Sabbathi, Spotlights.

At this pint... ha, point in time I'm not going to try and post images.

Alaskan Tapes is about what you'd expect and is pretty cool.

NIN Ghosts V pretty much follows I - IV.  Locusts seems a bit different almost  I think.  Either way, a bit of electronic ambient listening.

Vinnum Sabbathi is still doing that space rock stoner rock thing. And I like that.

And while I like the Spotlights music, it seems pretty short.

Can't let this go without comment.

Very prophetic. But nothing really changes, sadly...for some people?

Aparantly this album bombed.

Picked it up in the bargain bin at JBs for 2 bucks. Haven't played it for years. But l seem to recall it was ok.

Was not GnR fan back then. Now l have all their CDs. There is a bit more going on in their music, than just metal.

What's going on.

Not much. Just locked away listening to music and reading these posts.

Kitaro - Super Best. CD

Released in 1992.

CDs from Pony Canyon Japan are always good quality, the sound, the jewel case, the paper insert, the disc, everything.

Cool, I'm not super familiar with their work

From what I understand they're a bit out there, very instrumental?

I have the album "blowout comb" but probably haven't given it the attention it deserves

No longer a vinyl guy. Back in the States there's a storage crate with albums by the Roots, Tribe, Pete Rock, De la Soul amongst others. My daughter turned me on to '90's hip hop. I in turn turned her on to Gil Scott-Heron, Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith and the two God Fathers, James Brown and Chuck Brown.

Saw them years ago at a Big Day Out Concert. Man, they had the joint pumping. Not a huge fan of their recorded music. But live they are bloody awesome.
