Deep in the wonderful bottomless pit of country music?

Should listen to the Dave Rawlings records if you haven’t already

Here’s a sample

Watch it on YouTube and scroll down the comments for a heap of information about the song which if you listen sounds a bit nonsensical but the conversation around it makes sense

Grimes  ‎– Miss Anthropocene - brand new album from Canadian artist Claire Boucher on 4AD records.

This sounds amazing - superb Indie electro pop but with Burial dubstep beats thrown in.

check this out as Grimes is doing something different musically to most.

Well after the MONO gig last night (who were pretty damn awesome by the way, they brought the noise, was very cool to see them again and up closer this time) and seeing Jo Quail do her thing, I had to check out some of her music as it was pretty impressive live.

Cello with looping and... stuff.  :D Kind of classical...ish, but also not, pretty atmospheric and a bit experimental kind of sounding.  Nice.
