Dilettanteque
Minor Victories - Minor Victories I quite like the atmosphere of this release. Band includes members of Slowdive, Mogwai. and Editors (the last of which I have never heard). I thought the first two were trustworthy foundations for an enjoyable listening experience. And so it seems. A brief visit to Wikipedia denotes them as a "supergroup". Which i guess mans we won't see another release.....

stevoz
Spinning this new arrival (as explained in the "What Have You Bought etc" thread). Daddy Cool's "Sex, Dope, Rock'n'Roll: Teenage Heaven" 2017 Sony reissue. Some great songs on this, highlighted by the three song medley that starts side two......Teen Love, Drive In Movie and Love In An FJ. DC at their best right there......and of course, the classic "Make Your Stash"......superior to the also excellent Spectrum cover. Had a listen to them on Spotify last night, having not heard the name before. And most people know me by now that l am always chasing new prog. Their album Prog Noir is absolutely brilliant. Good guitar prog at its best. I'm hooked. I think they have 3 albums out. And l think l will be buying all of them if they are has great as Prog Noir. Will listen to another album tonight. Thanks Geoff for posting them. Brilliant. Cheers.
