Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons "Screaming Targets" Oz 1st pressing. An album I haven't played for awhile....the first time I played after my analogue resurrection a few years back, it sounded awfully bright but a lot has changed with my system since then including different TT, cart and phono stage...and it's sounding a lot better now. Nice blend of funk/reggae/rock and very well recorded it seems.....great cover art as well.?

The Ferrets "Dreams Of A Love" Oz 1st pressing.....an under rated Australian album by a clever band that went nowhere.

Billy Miller is indeed a very talented guy....I saw him three times with various bands, firstly with the Ferrets at the height of their short lived fame in '77, then with The Great Blokes and the Spaniards, both at Dookie Ag College in '81 and '83 respectively. Every concert was a blast and some of us students joined The Great Blokes on stage in '81 for a drunk and rousing rendition of 'Wild Thing', a Dookie concert tradition. The band loved it! In fact, I have a cassette recording of that whole Great Blokes concert including Wild Thing......somewhere.?

It's good to see that Billy is still rocking to this day.....

https://elitebeat.bandcamp.com/album/casual-rhythms-vol-2

< Elite Beat is a 6 piece ensemble based in the coastal region of the Pacific Northwest. Now in their 10th year as a musical collective, they continue to tirelessly cultivate a unique strain of vital and original, live rhythm music.

Rooted by powerful melodic basslines, and percussion-driven polyrhythms, Elite Beat creates ecstatic horn and guitar fueled compositions that invigorate the senses. Ripe with layers of electrified dub mixing, raw energy and a razor sharp sense of rhythm, Casual Rhythms Volume 2 is a continuation in our series of studio transmissions from the Elite Beat. >

Billy Miller on guitar with Dave Graney in 1999. Billy's played off and on in Dave's band  since then.

Here's a Ferrets live performance of "Just Like The Stars", showing the groups musical ambition and talent.....which was unfortunately ultimately lost on the Oz music buying public.?

Also, here's an article celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 'Dreams Of A Love" album" :

https://www.ilikeyouroldstuff.com/news/celebrate-40-years-of-the-ferrets-dreams-of-a-love-album

.....and here's a very interesting linked article/interview titled "WHO IS THE GREAT LOST AUSSIE POP STAR OF THE SEVENTIES? Say Hello (again) to Billy Miller" :

https://www.ilikeyouroldstuff.com/news/billy-miller-interview-part-1

....but be warned, there is no part 2. Apparently part one was "a piece that Billy reckons was so well received he’s keeping the rest under wraps for his memoirs."? Looking forward to those memoirs.

Should have been a bankable star.....so much talent.

Why have I not seen this posted, or have I not noticed it before?

This sounds very good, kindly provided by another member.  More on that elsewhere after more consideration.  All will become clear.
