stevoz
Arrived this morning....the 'vinyl only' release that debuted on the ARIA charts at number 9 (well done, vinyl is here to stay!)..... Grinspoon's "Chemical Hearts" 'best of' album. I'm one side in and it sounds quite good.....not outstanding but definitely not bad. Some 'white noise' surface noise which doesn't detract, bass could be a little punchier but overall, still quite dynamic and satisfying....and a nice selection of Grinners tracks. (But no 'Rock Show' unfortunately)

Mark stopped and asked if we were willing to stay. He said if we were, they were. The crowd erupted and they played in the rain, not only the gig, but an amazing encore. I still wonder how they were never electrocuted as the rain was coming down hard at an angle and they were drenched.

Monk
It's been a doomy fuzzy proggy kind of night. With a gentle sprinkling of psychedelica over the top. Started with Clouds Taste Satanic. Damn that really hit the spot. Hopefully their new album should be just as good. https://cloudstastesatanic.bandcamp.com/album/the-glitter-of-infinite-hell Currently playing Monkey3. Which is also just what I needed to hear. Actually, have been listening a fair bit of Monkey3 this week. They've got some great albums. https://monkey-3.bandcamp.com/album/sphere And just put on The Myrrors. This should probably round out the night nicely. Lovin' it. https://themyrrorsbbib.bandcamp.com/album/hasta-la-victoria
