Dilettanteque
So, I have been baled up in two separate instances by different work colleagues in unrelated bits of the business who have reacted with incomprehension that I had not heard Tool's Inoculum. I had to admit I had never listened to Tool. Or, to be fair, any music that would be categorised as part of their genre. Incomprehension squared, reaffirming the essential experience that I was missing. I had noted much enthusiastic interest amongst many SNAers. So last night's 25% off raid on HD Tracks swept this up as a low cost way of expanding my horizons. Streaming now.

Citroen
From a box of secondhand records, just cleaned and surprised just how good sounding this is. Haven't listened to this album for decades.
Monk
Some Lizzard Wizzard first up this afternoon. Liked their set at Hope Drone's gig on Friday. And this is a bit of raucous sludgy (oxymoron?) stoner rock/metal. The vocals are a little bit harsh at times, but it's not a bad sound overall. Also cool album title and cover https://lizzardwizzard.bandcamp.com/album/total-war-power-bastard Then Clouds Taste Satanic again. Don't mind this album hey. It's pretty good. And heavy. https://cloudstastesatanic.bandcamp.com/album/the-glitter-of-infinite-hell Then continuing on with a theme, but maybe a bit more laid back and psychedelic than doom or sludge, some Black Willows. https://blackwillows.bandcamp.com/album/haze Edited September 29, 2019 by Monk
BuzzzFuzzz
Hey @Monk, nice few there mate. I saw Lizzard Wizard in Brisbane a few years back when they supported Torche, with my friends band Indica opening the night. I was actually expecting to see King Gizzard and... ... but they were pretty good. Torche were much too loud on the night, to the detriment of the music, and the venue had not stocked up on ear plugs. It’s the only time I’ve left a gig before the band finished, it became unbearable, and I saw Motörhead from the front and centre of stage. Cheers man. Ant.
