Dilettanteque
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited Nostalgia continued....this accompanied the point at which the P6 was set up. Now i need to make the difficult choice - which vinyl to clean and spin first?

Guest
This one contains one of my favourite title songs and is one of the best Bond scores imho. Sounds like the ghost of Karen Carpenter, no? Edited July 20, 2019 by Guest
Guest
Not only the hottest ever bond girl, but also the hottest ever bond villain (I'm talking Grace Jones OK, not Christopher Walken). Really good score this one - John Barry w/ Electric Guitars and Trumpets? Just love the instrumental version of "A View To A Kill" too. My favourite Bond movie this. Dilettanteque
The Dirty Three - Horse Stories Sue's Last Ride is such a good song! And pulled out an oldie from the archives - mid 70s release of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Oh my that disc needed cleaning. And clearly a victim of the old HMV turntable my family had back then. But the memories pushed past the surface noise! Edited July 20, 2019 by Dilettanteque

Guest
MFSL pressing of "The Jazz Singer" Not a big Neil Diamond fan myself but good lord does this pressing sound amazing. Got the Big Mac cranked right up on this one... The opening track "America" absolutely thumps.. mixture of string orchestra and rock, love it. BuzzzFuzzz
Evening Lads. Not much action on the vinyl thread today, so thought I might double post here... Planning ahead for a day trip to JB HiFi at Wagga in the coming week or so, should have the rig set up in my new place this coming week. Looking for a couple of records to spoil myself with. Radiohead’s ‘Kid A’ is top of the list. Is anyone familiar with the pressing they stock? I would be shattered if it’s not worthy, and will buy on line instead. Thanks in advance. Ant. Edit - just looked on line, they carry the 2016 re-issue. ’tis $50 bucks though. I would pay that if you guys recommend it. Any recommendations for which pressing I should look for elsewhere on line? 2nd edit - Will also pick up Billie Eilish’s ‘When We all Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ Edited 6 hours ago by BuzzzFuzzz
