It may be one of the worst album covers of all time, but the music is sublime pleasure. I know, I know, I know, Iknow ...............

ThirdDrawerDown
It has its own distinct character and voice (musically as well as the vocals of Fiona McDonald) (and she has programming and production credits too) but even though it's unfair the fact of the matter is that this album is quite adequately described as suitable for those times when your would like something not too far from Blue Lines but without all the knobs turned up.
BuzzzFuzzz
Evening lads. Started off with these two... The Sisters of Mercy 'Floodland' 1987 Elektra-Asylum Records. 'Vision Thing' CD 1990 WEA Records, Germany. TSOM went for a bigger electric guitar approach after the Heavy Gothic sound of 'Floodland', putting out 'Vision Thing', with killer riffs and my preferred album. Like The Cult with the albums 'Love' & 'Electric', my preferred album, but I enjoy both bands earlier ones as well. One I haven't played for a while and really enjoyed hearing it again... Faith No More 'Introduce Yourself' 1987 Slash Records. I like this album more now than ever. RIP Chuck. Up next... 'Georgia Satellites' Self Titled 1986 Elektra-Asylum Records, WEA Int. Great Southern Rock, simple, catchy and very easy on the ear. Nice sounding record and great fun to play and sing along.

crisis
Tried listening to this yesterday. Ive had it for over 30 years. I gave it the full cleaning regime with PVA and my knosti. Terrible inner groove distortion I'm afraid. I'm not sure if its the recording or my copy is damaged. I have seen CDs on Ebay fo $10 so I think Ill go that way.
