Onto some Bowie now....."Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars' (US 1st pressing......sweet!)

I really look at that K.West sign differently now once someone stupidly linked it to that emphatic un-genius Kanye.....or 'Ye' as he desperately now wants to be known.??

Simple Minds ‎– New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84).  original UK pressing - pretty much Simple Minds perfect synth pop album - brilliant and timeless.

Simple Minds could do no wrong from 81 - 84 with Sons And Fascination,  Sister Feelings Call,  New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84) and Sparkle In The Rain.

I could not stop at just one Simple Minds album - Sparkle In the Rain.

after the lush synth sounds of New Gold Dream, Sparkle could not be more opposite with its brashness bordering on bright - produced by louder drums Steve Lillywhite this album rocks hard but still has some awesome synths - I could see why many fans did not like. Personally after your ears adjust to the lean and mean sound, the album is just as good as New Gold Dream.
