metal beat
Prince - self tilted 2nd album. the first album was good, but this is the first that has true Prince classics - like I Wanna be Your Lover and Why You Wanna Treat me So Bad with the super cool guitar solo.
Guest Hensa
Well, this is what can happen when you go to your alphabetically organised record shelves for a specific artist - you flip though a bunch of LPs that you also ‘need’ to spin! Looks like I’ll be doing a few “s”’s today then! Severed Heads - Rotund For Success. A great album, SH were ahead of their time for sure.
Guest Hensa
Could have sworn I had recently bought the MOFI Sisters of Mercy albums, Floodland and First and Last and Always but can’t find them where they’re meant to be. This copy of First and Last and Always has seen better days but what an album! Reminds me of my black overcoat (with a 1.25L bottle of bourbon and coke in the pocket) nights at the Propaganda nightclub in the Cross. Good times! Rustee
First time poster on this thumping thread. Not sure if greatest hits are allowed (my son always gets up me for buying greatest hits but they can be great value) but it's what I'm currently spinning and it's a great listen. If you don't have it already Peter, grab a copy of Paradise Is There. It's a better sounding record that showcases Natalie's development as an artist since she released Tigerlily. I've just dug it out to play it later.

Queen Greatest Hits II I love it! That's the best Greatest Hits album/compilation ever made by any band ever! (I think I made myself clear). I've had it since 1992, and recently (ok, 2011) bought a 2LP copy. That one was on constant rotation on my Walkman after the obligatory tape transfer. I listened today to 44/876 today, out of curiosity: Not bad, as record go, for casual music while doing the kitchen or something or other. I found the first song a bit meh... but it gets better. awayward
I’m in a bit of a laid back mood tonight, one of the best live albums out there, if you’re into this sort of stuff.
Monk
Ministry first up today for a bit of light-hearted industrial kinda thing. Then Sleepmakeswaves. Still probably my favourite album of theirs. And finishing with VAST. For some reason, I do like judging a system with this album. I need to tweak cables and improve my amp...

Monk
Okay, one more. Hungry Ghost's self-titled. Really good album this one. Minimalistic in places. Just dig this sound. https://hungry-ghosts.bandcamp.com/album/hungry-ghosts-lp
