Further information:Mint condition Forsetti that I've had since new. Recently thoroughly serviced by Tim Wilkinson of Tuned In Audio who replaced nearly all the caps with upgraded ones and some resistors. Caps alone cost me $300. It has the optional output protection boards fitted as well. Truly an audiophile grade integrated, highly detailed and with amazing level of transparency. It is also highly musical with amazing sense of timing, seductive midrange and walk through soundstage. Rated at 100 watts per channel into 8ohms, it will drive just about any speaker and sounds sublime on my Wilson Sashas.

I've recently sold this bad boy's bigger brother: the friend of mine who was using it realized once it was gone, just how good it was and how much he missed it. Subsequently he's bought a Krell to console himself and to, more importantly, hear the music the way he likes to hear it. Long term I'll be interested to discover what he has liked the most, the Alchemist or the Krell......
