Further information:

The Revox B225, released in the mid-1980s, is an audiophile-targeting high-fidelity CD player. Like other high-end CD players of the era, the B225 has three discrete boards, one for power supply, one for drive, and one for audio. It features a highly-regarded tray-loading mechanism using Philips parts, which went on to be used in a number of other high-end CD players. Another interesting feature is one of the first demonstrations of an LCD screen display on a commercial CD player. As for the audio, the B225 features a 14-bit Philips TDA1540 DAC, which is subjectively well regarded by many CD fans, in the same way that some modern audiophiles prefer the sound of cassette tape to digital formats which offer higher specs on paper. Overall the Revox B225 is a really neat piece of gear with a cult-like following, by virtue of its sound as well as fantastic design. (Found above info from the web)

This CD player is in very good condition, with some signs of age, including a few minor scratches which are not noticeable (please see photos). This player works perfectly except the green lights inside are no long working, it doesn't worry me, but you can get them from eBay for about $20. This unit has been set to 240v. Made in West Germany.
