If you love HD800 and Utopia like I did, you will love 1266 CC. Excellent separation, even bigger soundstage than HD800, even more dynamic than Utopia, better resolution than both, rich mids, best bass and smooth treble. A real meaningful upgrade for HD800 users. Since A2A no long sells Abyss 1266 series, this might be the easier way to obtain one if you decide to go TOTL. Selling due to going back to China and have 1266TC and better equipments at home. Purchased from A2A with receipts and all accessories, price is slightly negotiable. I personally wouldn't say better resolution or more dynamic than utopia... but definitely better bass, timbre, soundstage, and more real/ speaker like presentation. However seeing as he did, I would assume that he is best placed, more so than those who have not owned both headphones, to give some perspective. I stand by my question as it hurts nobody, including the OP, to talk to the differences. Rather it helps to educate a potential buyer of a used TOTL headphone. TC has more resolution and more radical, better for symphonies from my perspective. But I find myself prefer vocals on CC. Purchased 30 April 2020, still within warranty.
