I am looking to a power amp ( no controls requiring preamp to use) for  3 pairs of  Definitive Technology ceiling speakers for effect (4) and rear center (2)

(Main R/L/C are Meridian  M60, and pair of M33)

I have a top of the line 7.1 power amp @ 140 watts each channel - and I’m from Brisbane

If that’s sounds OK to you I can post the model and a video if I find one

That's an AVR not a power amp. @alex117 put your request in the WTB section and you will hopefully have more luck.

I have a NAD m25 Master series 7 channel power amp that I’ll be moving on soon. It needs a little love (some of the LEDs on the front turn off after a while of operation) but  otherwise faultless from a sound perspective.

it’s in Victoria and weighs the better part of 60kg so might not be what you want to deal with from a shipping perspective.

Interested depending on price, in Vic as well.

My M25 has the same issue. Sometimes one or two are out other times the whole lot are working. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to it either. Do you know if it is simply needing replacements?

And in the interests of not hijacking the thread, I too am toying with the idea of moving the power amp on... too many channels!

I am in northern NSW.

I have yet to open mine up for a look but I don't imagine it a difficult fix. The architecture of the amp has the control board separate to the amplification stages, so it would be just a matter of pulling that module and taking a peek.  The fact that others are experiencing the same issue tells me it should be common and a fix shouldn't be unknown.  I have an electronics specialist mate I was going to give mine to for a look but Stage 4 lockdown in Vic has put a stop to that possibility.

thanks for the link have you used this amp or know about it?

I have not used the PVA series amps but have and been using MCA series amps and they are quite good from Anthem.

Item Condition: Used good condition Shipping Options: Pickup available and you can audition. Suburb or Town: Canberra State: ACT Payment Method: Paypal, EFT, or Cash on Pickup Reason for selling: Concentrating on 2 channel stereo system Further information:
Price drop from $3600 to $3300. Any interest?

This is a 5 channel power amplifier, 225w per channel at 8ohms, purchased new from Miranda HiFi in February 2018 and I have used with an Anthem AVM60 which is also for sale. Because I pass the front channels through to my stereo amp I really haven't made full use of its capabilities and I'm concentrating on my 2 channel setup.

Local buyers are welcome to audition.

Comes in the original double box. Anyone interested in shipping at your cost - the amp weighs 27.5kg, and the box adds about 4.3kg, totalling 31.8kg. Box dimensions are 625mm x 590mm x 335mm. Shipping is from Ainslie ACT 2602.

Item Condition: Excellent Shipping Options: Pickup available and you can audition. Suburb or Town: North Melbourne State: VIC Payment Method: EFT or Cash on pick-up preferred Reason for selling: Selling excess equipment Further information:
I recently told a friend of mine that I was looking at upgrading my system and he asked me if I would like to borrow some of the equipment he had which he wasn't using so I could compare what I had with some alternatives. I ended up with an additional pair of speakers, a power conditioner and this Pass Labs power amplifier.

Then lockdown hit and instead of having the equipment for 2 weeks, I was lucky enough to have it for 4 months! Not only that, I have been working from home, so it has definitely been good company on the days when I haven't had too many meetings.

I don't really want to return any of it but he is not interested in selling the speakers or the power conditioner (the two items which most need upgrading in my system). He is interested in selling me this amplifier, however, it is the one item out of the three that I can't justify, so before it goes back to him, we agreed I would advertise it here. It weighs over 50kg, so hopefully you can understand the motivation of having to move it one less time.

This unit is about 3 years old, and was purchased second hand about 2 years ago. The previous owner purchased it from Class-A Audio. Current RRP is about $13k. It is in excellent condition with no visible marks.

If money was no object, I would definitely buy it. I currently use 2 Prima Luna Prologue Power Amplifiers which themselves are highly rated, but this is a cut above especially when running in Class-A. When I bought the Prima Lunas, I thought tubes were my preference over solid state but this amp has proven that it is the outcome that is important, not the mode.

Most people will know it by reputation, but if not, there are plenty of reviews out there:

If you are interested in buying, you are welcome to audition it at my house in North Melbourne. It comes with a manual, but no box, so shipping is not currently an option.

PS If anybody wants to buy two Prima Luna Prologue Power Amplifiers instead, let me know. Maybe I will be able justify this amp after all

A donation will be made to SNA upon sale.

Selling my Bryston 4BSST2 + MPS2 + BP26, the complete set was brought from Carlton Audio Visual in 2016.  It still has 16 years warranty remaining on the units. Unfortunately, I do not have the original packaging, but can organise shipping.  The units are in very good condition, no remote is included as this was a factory option from Bryston.

If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Willing to separate, but preference given to those wanting to buy the complete set.

The Rotel RB-1582 MKII amp (RRP $2799) is in perfect working condition and is pristine in appearance.  The unit was purchased from a local dealer in late 2018. My job roles changed since the purchase and I barely have time with my gears since.
The unit is extremely well taken care of and was covered with cloth while not in use (I tend to be away from home for weeks!).
The amp is barely used for 120 hrs in total. So, make sure you allow more burn-in time.
I have all the original boxes, manuals etc.

      Details:

Rotel’s largest stereo amplifier at 200 watts per channel provides the massive current to drive the very largest hi-fi systems effortlessly. And like its smaller brother, the RB-1582 MKII has been designed to excel at resolving the subtle details in music as well as supplying the brawn required for extremely dynamic passages. It is able to achieve this difficult dual requirement because of the meticulous attention paid to circuit design and parts selection.

The RB-1582 MKII ‘s high-end performance begins with an extremely large toroidal transformer combined with a total of 60,000uF storage capacity in special “slit foil” capacitors to provide completely stable power to the output stage. Slit foil capacitors have the ability to charge and discharge extremely quickly, thereby ensuring signal fidelity during orchestral crescendos or repetitive kick-drum impacts, for example. Both left and right channel construction are laid out in a mono block design (after the toroidal transformer) and all grounding is terminated in a star pattern on a copper grounding plate to ensure low signal to noise. The output stage is a discrete design that consists of 10 high current bipolar transistors per channel. Input options consist of both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors.
The RB-1582 stereo power amplifier is yet another outstanding example of Rotel’s Balanced Design Concept and will form the heart of a very impressive stereo or home theater system for years to come.
