Further information:

I'm selling this on behalf of a friend of mine who bought some beautiful rare high end pieces from a fastidious collector and doesn't play cd's.

Please look at photos as part of description.

I know a bit about audio but this is a little out of my realm.  I can confidently say that it isn't working as it should.  The two things that I have identified are as follows;

1. The mechanism of the lid does not seem to be connected or close correctly when pressing the open/close button but also sits freely and can be moved by hand.

2. After start up, "Servo Reset" comes on the display as can see in pics and doesn't play from there.

I don't have the knowledge to do full testing or whats needed to fix.

I would imagine could be fixed all well, not sure of the price but one would think (or hope) well under $1000.

These are pretty much impossible to find in Australia however seem to go for around the $6000 mark in other countries so think asking price is quite a fair price especially as in extremely good cosmetic condition and such a rare, quality piece.

This is arguably one of the best cd transports ever made and is ridiculously heavy (think around 20kg!)

Comes with remote control and 60 page manual in virtually pristine condition.

Pickup is in Mornington or can post.

OK - I stand corrected!  It was not the shape I expected.  Sorry, my bad.

      Item Condition: Excellent, as new - cosmetically and operationally perfect Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available.,Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Perth State: WA Payment Method: Pick up - cash, bank transfer Reason for selling: Upgraded up the Lamm line Further information: Original purchaser of this two box, reference class hybrid linestage - current valves in PSU are essentially new from Lamm (cost A$1,192.35) . Also included is the full set of original valves which still have many hundreds of hours of life left in them. The unit has been rotated with various other pre-amplifiers, but has quite easily remained the finest sounding pre-amplifier in my system until the release of the Lamm LL1.1 Signature. Operationally dead quiet. Comes in their factory wooden crates with manual. Lamm doesn't do remote controls. Purchase cost was A$24,500
