Hergest
Item Condition: New and wooly Shipping Options: Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Bright State: Victoria Payment Method: Paypal, Bank Deposit Reason for selling: It's still cold here Further information: You could call this listing-Audiophile Scarves and Beanies, The Unexpected Edition. I listed some recently as a Stereonet fundraiser and was going to try my others out at the local Saturday morning craft fair here in town. The renewal of lockdown has put the kibosh on that, but things could be far worse of course and with me having no work again, at least I've got plenty of time to knit away. Looks like I picked the wrong year to move from Sydney and get a job in hospitality in Alpine Victoria. Good job it's beautiful down here even when when wearing a (hand knitted) face mask. Good job too that in the weeks when life seemed to be returning to a semblance of normality I was able to drive to Bendigo and load up with wool before they shut their factory shop up again. Likewise Wangaratta wool mill. So I'm listing what I have here if no-one has any objections. A brief recap for anyone stumbling across this. I knit while listening to music, am fussy about the wool I use so it's either 100% Australian grown and processed merino from Bendigo or Wangaratta or Nundle in Northern NSW, or Manos Del Uruguay merino from a female, non profit co-operative in rural Uruguay. I have a Facebook page where I list things as I make them and attempt to make a profit by charging more than here so I can buy a record or two. To be honest I'm not greatly fussed and knit for the pleasure and charge enough to cover the cost of the good wool and as heads up, if anyone ever sees anything I've got on Facebook and like the look of it then it will always be mate's rates if you pm me though here or mention Stereonet. https://www.facebook.com/Diggory-Knits-100272208441909/ The important stuff; I know I'm not supposed to mention price in the body of the thread so I hope it doesn't get rejected but the scarves are all $50 as it says in the listing. The few beanies are $30 (need to make more of them) and Express postage per order is a flat $10. Paypal or bank transfer to pay, whatever suits. I'll put a number next to each listing so if you fancy anything then shoot me a pm with the number and description or say in the thread. There are two photos of each of the scarves, for some reason the colour can be a bit off in the rolled up photo as that room is a bit of a pig to photograph in. The ones on the dummy torso tend to be more representative. Any questions then feel free to ask. You might notice I've developed a penchant for stripes and tassels........... Photos: 1. Kaynin
Yep, fastest selling items in the Classifieds for many a year now... My girlfriend loves scarves, she has a drawer full. I bought her one of these recently and she said by far it's one of the warmest - and the quality if plain to see.
