Yes this does the full MQA unfold and transports through various outputs to your DAC. Roon compatible as well and shows up as an endpoint. http://www.luminmusic.com/lumin-u1-mini.html
gemini07
I have one of these - very nice and highly recommended. You'll need to get your own dac, but as there are about ten now listed on SNA that shouldn't be hard.
Shane F
Thanks George, I have been looking at it. One thing that troubles me is the Lumin app to drive it. Just not sure about how you save albums and playlists for future use. Edited August 13, 2020 by Shane F
BugPowderDust
I've got the T2 and it's a seriously great unit. The Lumin gear is built like a brick sh!thouse and very pleasing to the eye. Setup is simple and they are VERY active on a few forums if you have any questions or queries. The app isn't essential, nor is it that bad to use. That said, I run my T2 using roon as part of a near 10 zone RAAT setup comprised of devices from Sonos, BlueSound and a few Raspberry Pi's with DAC HATs. Ehrmantraut
Hi Shane, There are two ways that I use. Either a USB connected NAS or other drive and using Tidal. The Lumin app holds all of your Tidal info. Neil

Grizaudio
It looks as though the entire streaming board runs from a simple 12vdc feed. This suggests a DIY 12vdc linear power mod would be quite straight forward, enabling one to achieve U1 performance.
