JukKluk2
If you can find one, the Arcam FMJ A49 would be my recommendation. Take a look at the reviews that you can find online. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiUgZ3gvtbqAhWJ4zgGHSgUD8sQFjADegQIBBAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fandreweverard.com%2F2015%2F02%2F19%2Freview-arcam-a49-a-transatlantic-triumph%2F&usg=AOvVaw0NtfnK70cFmIvnpiUrScO5 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiUgZ3gvtbqAhWJ4zgGHSgUD8sQFjAEegQIAxAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.enjoythemusic.com%2Fmagazine%2Fequipment%2F1015%2FArcam_FMJ_A49_Stereo_Integrated_Amplifier_Review.htm&usg=AOvVaw0mUFNiJE2kDXa0Mq6Rsp9W https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiUgZ3gvtbqAhWJ4zgGHSgUD8sQFjAFegQIARAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theabsolutesound.com%2Farticles%2Farcam-fmj-a49-integrated-amplifier%2F&usg=AOvVaw1RUq3OqBnFqopLACqiUJKk I was dubious when it was first suggested to me as I had always thought of Arcam as a mid-fi brand at best, but after listening to it I was hooked. It's an old model now which means that you might be able to pick one up at a really good price. Originally they were just under $9k, but I have seen a clearance price of under $5k for one on the Audio Connection website, which means (I assume) that you would get the 2 year warranty. I think Douglas Hi-Fi in Perth also sold them, so it might be worth checking with them too.
Al.M
What’s the budget, new or used? Around the same price as the speakers also consider amps like Yamaha AS3000 and 2100, Luxman 505, Musical Fidelity M6, Hegel H190, Parasound Halo A21 etc. If preamp and power amp combos are ok they are options as well. POV
Budget? And can you define what 'musical' means to you?

If you want an off the cuff answer then I'd say any high end Sansui amp in the 80w per channel area or most Luxman models 2000 to 2015 SS amps in the same wattage. And of course a couple of thousand other amps. Some made here in Oz and many made else where. I'm sorry but I have no idea what you mean by "musical".

POV
Right.. so your Dynaudio speakers are pretty linear with measurably low distortion. You'll have folks telling you that Dyns need lot's of power, however in my experience it's high current amplifiers that really make them sing. With that budget I would recommend you look at the new Denon PMA-2500NE. This amp has a real weight and midrange fluidity that i think will complement the Evokes beautifully. And with it's very high current design it will blow you away with it's control and transient response. Seriously don't discount it cause it's a Denon. The new NE range Denon has knocked out of the park I think. I have no clue what you mean by synergy sorry. 4

Is it not a draw back ? Now I use PM8005 Marantz, is that more or less like Denon 2500.ne? Thanks Edited July 18, 2020 by Masseey
Irek
Last time I auditioned few amplifiers they were sometimes very different. At the $6000 bracket it really comes down to personal taste. Besides the sound quality there are other futures you might need or even specific size/colour/design.

mattd2308
http://www.novial.sk/documents-denon/denon-pma-2500ne-hifi-news-2016.pdf Have a read of this, this is what convinced me to get one, yes, not the most powerful in the world, but to use a diesel engine analogy, has PLENTY of torque. (Current) Is twice the weight of your 8005. just my2c 1

Now I use PM8005 Marantz, is that more or less like Denon 2500.ne? Thanks system match between speaker and amp will ultimately be subjective in terms of sound signature. I used to think sub out was important, but since experimenting with REL and KEF subs using high level in, I think that assuming you are using a sub with a good quality, well implemented crossover then you can potentially get even better integration between mains and sub using the speaker level inputs. What sub are you using? If Sub integration in the amplifier is important the perhaps check out the Parasound HINT-6. The PMA-2500NE is a significant jump in quality over the PM8005, and Denon and Marantz have quite different amp topology and sound signatures. Always , I want to have Musical Fidelity integrated M6 500sI or M6 power amp using pm8005 as pre. I am not sure is above MF better than Denon 2500ne. My Marantz is also very good. SVS subs don't have speaker level inputs I don't think, which is in itself a good reason to look elswehere. Have you already purchased the sub? If not then i think you can do better for a music based system. Suggest you look at REL T7i or KEF Kube12B instead. if you are set on the SVS then you will need an integrated with variable pre-outs or sub out. Guest
Asking what "The best" amplifier is, is like asking what the best sports car is, or what the best watch is. Good luck with that. If I were spending $6k on an integrated, I agree with the other chap I'd get the Luxman. I'd even consider a second hand higher spec model. There have been a few for sale on here lately. I do love my Luxman kit. It does depend what sort of thing floats your boat though. Like I said, there is no such thing as a universally accepted "Best", of anything. There certainly are some "stay away froms" in my opinion. I won't post them, otherwise fists will start flying.
