Resource for HD album downloads (Aust)

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

Any suggestions for where best to download HD albums? I can use tidal, but don't find it has the same sound as cdrips on my server. Any HD Tracks alternatives?

Thanks!

Vinay

Zdigital -  this is an aussie site. I've used a few times with no problems

Thanks for that - seems to have a lot of 16 bit flac - as far as I can tell thats just CD quality. Will have a look for some extra high res stuff.

Thanks for pointing out the other thread!

They also have hi rez stuff but albums seem to come and go!  I purchased about 10 last when I connected my PC to my hifi to try and about half are no longer available.

Another vote for zdigital. No nonsense unlimited downloads and reasonable prices. Plenty of highres albums there, but like anywhere, each place seems to have a slightly different catalogue.

zdigital is good but I have a uk and aus account. sometimes there are albums that are only available as  mp3 on one site and flac on the other.  same goes for pricing one can be cheaper than the other.  they also have different catalogues.

Oh but if you're after classical, you're in luck. These two sites together have more than you can possibly hope for in highres digital for download. Try eclassical first as it's cheaper and has great weekly specials, but presto's catalogue is better.
