Converting single sided planars to double sided?

Just a topic I am curious about, given that in a planar headphone, the coil in the diaphragm is the only component of the headphone which receives current and the magnets are simply there to provide a magnetic field, theres is nothing stopping you from adding another magnet array to the other side.

Take for example a hifiman he 4xx, the driver has three layers; the magnet layer, the diaphragm layer and the front grill layer. If we were to remove the front grill layer and replace it with magnets, what changes can be made to the sound?

Even though the front magnets may be different to the rear magnets, it might still work. Take the hifiman hek, hex,  ananda and arya for example, the front and rear magnet arrays in these cans are different sizes.

A big issue I had with the single sided hifiman planars was the lack of slam, perhaps this may be a remedy.
