And yet you rub it in with a Yello album I do not posess!

Some things never change [sigh]

What the one I only paid $40 for at a Tivoli night and which is worth a lot more nowadays??

Never mind,  you are the No.1 in Madonna collections and a few more I'm sure! ?

Oh that poor Melody being neglected and unloved on the bottom shelf.

It breaks my heart too Marc, just sold off another under utilized amplifier today actually to try and keep something in the bank!

The Melody occupies special status though. ?

I do think that we ought to hand the hat around to buy him the rest of plinth and the dust cover though ;)

@Telecine you are quite right. It looks like a very fine piece of kit and one wonders what it would be like if the manufacturer didn't cut corners.

[Someone had to say the obvious. Hoping it sounds as good in situ as it did at

auditions, evil]

You armchair critics!

And from you of all people Murray turning against your own Countrymen! ?

It was computer designed for those looking past a cheap dig, with the weight designed to be placed off centre toward the actual playing area. ?

That required clever design quirks, while I think still achieving a very nice result visually.

Nice purchase, haven't seen these before.

Is it an optical illusion, but the TT doesn't look level??? -

Again , another one! ?

Just checked it, 1mm out so easily fixed with adjustable height feet.

This purchase is a disturbing development. It would appear that you actually have a plan and a good one at that ;)

nice wonder how many people still own the Hulgich Astor now. even not many own the Dukes

There were only 2 pairs ever made of the Astors which ended up being a prototype - due to their complexity and labor intensive design I believe. @Mike13 has the other pair in white, which I bought off Nick Hulgich and then swapped with his black pair to better suit our home's  decor.

Nick later moved onto the Dukes , which while slightly smaller share many similarities.

He has certainly sold a fair few here and very popular overseas.

Love the look of the Astors though over the Dukes, so imposing!
