Boratri
Item Condition: Very good for age Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available. Suburb or Town: Melbourne State: Victoria Payment Method: EFT Reason for selling: NLR Further information: I am the second owner of these speakers and have had them for a number of years. When we moved house they were far too big for the room and have been sitting in the garage ever since. I tested them a couple of months ago and had forgotten how open and transparent they were. One speaker has very low static when the music is low or off but doesn’t seem to intrude when the volume is turned up to normal. The other has no issues. These were checked out by John Hall long ago and put away and never been used since. The speakers themselves are in very good condition. The top veneer is a bit faded but are very smooth and all it would take is some furniture oil to bring them back up. The “socks” (sleeves?) are in excellent condition and very clean except for a small 1 cm nick on the outer back edge which you can’t see from the front. The white spots on the base of the stands are bits of white paint which splattered while I was painting in the garage. I had the speakers carefully covered except for the stands so there is no paint any higher than the bases. This was acrylic paint so will come off easily Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved. Boratri
Hi, thanks for your Interest. I tried them out about three months ago. The static was audible at low volumes but didn’t appear to be there at normal levels. And I couldn’t tell that there was a difference in levels between The two speakers
Boratri
They are typical quad esls. Very airy open sound. They are just too big for my place.
