I bought this few months ago for $700. 


It is an excellent DAC at this price range with clear mellow sound.  But I decided to sell it because I miss the MQA sound.

      Battery is good and run time is close to what it was when new.

      The USB D/A converter is the 32-bit high-performance SABRE 32 from ESS Technology, and its USB device controller IC is the latest product from XMOS, the semiconductor firm. It is compatible with native playback of the DSD 5.6MHz (DSD128) format or 384kHz/32-bit playback. Supported formats are:

      I have the original box included. When I bought this it didn't have all the cables included so I've added a cable of each type to suit it, and have thrown in an optical toslink to mini-toslink cable to suit the device, and a mini adapter. See the pics.

      Classic 90's DAC in very good condition that I bought original in 1995. Whoever is looking for one of these already knows why this is still around today. It's one of the few DACs that supported HDCD decoding (of Reference Recording fame) but only supports 16 bit 44.1/48kHz input sample rates but is a 20bit ladder DAC. Note that the paper in the picture under the DAC is how I store it at the moment because the feet on the bottom have aged so much that they've melted and become a sticky mess. Otherwise the rest is in very good condition, and I still have the original manual.
