Now there's some rare Australiana !  I bet there's a lot of people looked in on this ad and they'd be like; Who?

Saw them live a heap of times as Arial and Spectrum. Ah, the memories.

@keyse1  Forget Bruce. The best CD for sale here has already flown!

I did indeed, I was involved with some older guys who were all roadies at the time. You can still see the name of one of them on the Dingoes first album.?

Spectrum

Ariel, Spectrum and Murtceps were big in my circle back in the day. A lot of their catalogue is not available on cd and seeing I don't own a turntable (punishable offence to admit that?), has curtailed my nostalgia somewhat. However, a quick search and I found this on ebay. Ordered and a little excited to get it!

I have some minty Arial albums and some other M.Rudd stuff sitting in boxes that haven't seen the light of day in decades. I should get rid of them and let others have a listen.  Soon all us members who saw them live will be...gone for ever. I'm kinda doubting there'll be a resurgence in love for them after that!

I recognise the name but don’t think I ever saw them play

Saw a lot of Australian bands but mainly in Sydney

Unless they were famous as in popular they didn’t get up here much

In relation to Bruce I grew up surrounded by conservatives

They frowned on everything that I thought was fun

From memory

“For the ones that have got a notion

A notion deep inside

That it ain’t no sin to be glad you’re alive”

That resonates with me and even today when I hear it I get goose bumps?
