Have you noticed much difference in sound quality between the MX121 and the arcam?

Hey Will,

Only tested the 2 for Home Theatre duties. In that regard, the Arcam keeps up with the more expensive Mcintosh.

So you haven't compared 2 channel performance between those 3? Arcam/Krell and Mcintosh?

Hey Tomwu,

I haven’t compared the 3 as stereo preamps directly. I’m only interested in their excellent Movie performance.

i originally used the Krell as a stereo Preamp which was excellent & have since tried the Mcintosh. Although the system is different to when the Krell was in use.

They’re obviously decent performers but my current stereo pre has better synergy to the rest of my system.
