The Maxx (1995) by Sam Keith, based on his graphic novel series The Maxx.

Yep, second that comment Eraserhead and dating advice.  But what a realisation of whatever post industrial apocalypse David Lynch had in his head.  And the lead actor who looked like David Thomas of Pere Ubu ..... Have to track this down again.

The original and only one IMO :thumb:

Saw Mad Max 2 at a retrospective screening at MIFF 2008, it stood up really well! Mate of mine was one of the sound recordists, he won an AFI award for his work on that film! No OH &S back then, he tells stories of being on that tanker going through flames sitting under Mel Gibson with his trusty Nagra tape recorder!

Here's another one from the olden days "Stone"

Already done on Page 5.

The Blood of Heroes AKA The Salute of the Jugger

Filmed in the desolation of Coober Pedy, a post apocalyptic game, with some similarities to Rollerball, 6 a side, crash & bash, no rules other than to score to win.
