LuzArt
Needing to replace my old Audiophilleo 2. What are you using for a converter these days? I do want to keep using my Metrum (SPDIF Coax in) DAC so still need to convert USB. Cheers Ben

Batty
I think $135 is enough for in game sound, probably good enough for music too.

twwen2
What's wrong with the Audiophilleo 2? I know they're getting on in age, but I still adore mine.
Ittaku
I have one of these and it's sensational with its ultra low noise and ultra low jitter: https://www.matrix-digi.com/en/products/314.html Independent review and measurements here: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/review-and-measurements-of-matrix-audio-x-spdif-2-usb-converter.6597/ I use it for my main hifi as well as my headphone system. This outperformed the Gustard and Singxer devices I used, even though it was cheaper than the latter.

At the moment I'm stunned by the Schiit Loki DSD DAC. I'm committing the mortal sin of upsampling all PCM to DSD64 and I can't believe what I'm hearing. The Metrum may well end up for sale! Well it is, but prior to it's release they had a Loki DSD DAC. Not sure why they reused the name though.
