Exceedingly rare VFET  amplifier. Japan only manufacture by the renown --  Victor Company of Japan.  Known as Victor  in Japan, you may know the manufacturer as the exported brand JVC.

The amplifer uses 4 pairs of NEC Vertical Fet Devices.  Manufacture - 1975- 1977.

Japan only domestic market amplifier - therefore 100 VOLT Power supply is required. You will require a quality isolated 240v to 100v transformer. DO NOT use 120v or 110v supply to operate this amplifier.  This amplifier is in original condition including the speaker terminals. You will require bare speaker wire or at maximum 2mm pins  to connect speakers. Refer again to the date of manufacture.

Power output - 100watts inmto 8 ohms. Weight - 20kg.  I have driven 8, 6 & 4 ohmn loads with this amplifier without issue.

Beautifully built bolid (beyond solid) piece of audio in remarkable condition. You need to see one in the flesh to appreciate the design and build. A collectors item, that also sounds excellent.

The price is firm. - Thank you.

This looks to be in mint condition and even has a headphone output. This would probably push ahead of my DAC and Cartridge purchase if I had the money.

Looks like a glorious piece of kit mate. GLWTS

This amp is a very good sounding amp.  No tranistor harshness . Very smooth and detailed

I auditoned Steve's amp on a very good horn system,  comparing it to highly considered Sony  TA-N78 100 watt Vfet amp.

They both sounded great with a very similar sound signature.  On the night if you had to pick a winner the Victor

was the prefered, just edging out the Sony by sounding little more organic.

For the price, when considering the sound quality the Victor is a bargain.

This is the second one I've seen for sale this year. The other one was on Gumtree. SA I think, not sure.

Avoid if possible. This has been listed on SA Gumtree for at least 12 months. He is a well known dealer in used hi fi gear in Adelaide ( one of about 4 who control the whole market ) and isn't really wiling to negotiate price changes so it remains stupidly over priced.

When contacted he is very vague about servicing and providence. I would avoid him and definitely go for the OP's listing.

@rantan Thanks for the heads up.  Yes I would be going for The Fez's if I was allowed to . SWMBO tells me I have too much gear already .

      2 of 1200 x 600 x 120(deep) mm
      2 of 1200 x 600 x 35 (deep) mm

All panels uses 48kg/m3 rockwool semi-rigid panels, foil backed to maximise lower frequency absorption.
All are mounted on very sturdy plywood frames and the sides have rigid frames to ensure they keep their shape.

Rest assured that ALL rockwool fibre are contained and secured inside the panels.

The thinner panels are ideal for treating first reflection points in the frequency range that affects imaging.
The thick panels will be equally as effective for first reflection points, but straddling room corners with them, I've measured significant improvement in decay times around the 100 Hz mark.

I made these to treat my mancave to good effect, coupled with my chunk traps. Unfortunately, I no longer have a dedicated audio room and I have succumbed to 3rd party pressure - SWAMBO.

1x freebie 1200 x 600 x 35 (deep) mm. This was my frist attempt and not covered in the same colour material and has soft edges.

These are a genuinely great-sounding pair of wireless headphones, capable of receiving higher-bitrate LDAC codec. They also work as a great all-round pair of wired closed-back headphones using the supplied 3.5mm cable/jack.

They're in absolute mint condition with case, retail packaging and charging/data + audio cables.

I’m selling my beloved Klipsch thx ultra2 7.2 system as I’m moving overseas. All speakers are in excellent condition and were wall mounted in our home theatre but some got some superficial scratches during a recent move courtesy of an inexperienced removalist.

      The system consists of;

      Three kl-650-THX LCR
      kl-525-THX (pair)
      ks-525-THX (pair)
      kw-120-THX Subwoofers (pair)
      One KA-1000-THX Subwoofer amplifier

Wall mounts included for all speakers apart from the Center and subs of course.

      also comes with books/manuals

Pre-amp and power amp have already sold so I need this gone ASAP. I’m also selling two pairs of Klipsch RP-500SA Atmos speakers (in a different ad) which I’ve only owned for a few months.

any audition would only be to prove that they work as my current setup won’t really show the full potential of these speakers.

if interstate buyer can organise their own shipping I’d be happy to facilitate that too otherwise local pickup welcome as I don’t have original package.

Also happy to receive payment by PayPal purchase if buyer covers the charges.

      Donation to SNA once sold

      Thanks for looking.
