MCMcMuffin
Hi, I have a pair of audiotechnica ATH-AD770X that the original cable has hardened and cracked. This has resulted in the wires being exposed and damaged. I don't have a soldering tool, filing tool or the 3.5mm audio jack like the guy in the video. I have followed the thread upto step 5. Rather than going out and buying all this equipment would there be anyone who would be willing to do something like this on the forum in Brisbane / Rocklea ? Happy to pay for your time. I have attached some photos below of my headphones currently. Do not worry about the 1/4 inch adapter that was just to demonstrate the size of the hole. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/how-to-ath-ad900x-detachable-cable-mod-ath-adxxxx-and-what-not-to-do.798199/ or
