Introducing myself

Hi, am female, 72 yrs old , retired and after going thought a divorce and selling off my last set up , am re purchased with Grado rs2e's ,Marantz cd5005 Cdp and Schiit Vali2 H/p amp.

Will be asking questions on and off so patience with me please.

Taste In music is Jethro tull, Enigma, Heart, Marianne faithful, Pink Floyd and Vaughn Williams 

That's a rough outline?

Did some reading up and the E88CC / 6922 / 6DJ8  (same tube) is a great match for the Vali 2.

I'm currently using one now, a definite improvement over the stock tube in my opinion.

 

Bought the JJ Electronics brand from here for about $22 with no issues:

Thank you, will ask though, I used to have the Lyr2, was finding the 6922 a bit on the warm side, cant remember the ones I liked ,they were from Ukraine
