Extra Info:

I bought these in April 2019 , intrigued by the design and the reviews (below) and also through much discussion with Andy at Audiofix over their suitability in my room. in short they work fine in my room and with their down firing port , makes for a lot of versatility in room positioning.  Ultimately I enjoyed their sound enough to sell my Dynaudio confidence 5.

but as always in this great game, a recent read up and current home demo of Revel F208 have made me decide to purchase them as hopefully an “ end game” speaker. Well that’s the plan 😎

these present as new , out of the boxes and set up -   No marks at all. So like new with a discount price.

sounds wise, I play a wide variety of music through them and found them to be detailed and balanced, never becoming over bright  the high and mids in particular are impressive. Female vocals in particular sound very nice. The bass is fast and well defined - certainly not plodding.  These could be an ideal speakers for someone liking the Proac, Spendor or Sonus Fabre sound.

Build quality is spot on, weight in at 35kg each, with 25mm cabinets made in Italy and the heavy and solid plinths.  At a pinch they do look a bit like mid period Sonus  Faber, but certainly they look even more impressive in the flesh. With their design and slimline dimensions, could be a alternative to a similar priced standmount?

I have the boxes (3) and packaging so transport/courier isn’t an issue. Happy demo at home to interested parties

boxes are 115cm long x 33cm wide and 45cm deep weight would be about 40 kgs per box.

interesting fact - Falcon are distributed the USA by Mofi electronics.

Cheers dave

Falcon Acoustics is of course renowned for their BBC LS3/5a's as the only current iteration that actually employs the same KEF drive units as the originals.
I would love to audition these.

And your Studio 30's of course! Spec wise, they would appear to be easy to drive.

Not sure if you've actually achieved an upgrade with the Revels though that would depend on your front end, so I'd be interested in your thoughts of how they compare. Similar size and configuration to the F208's but I imagine they would sound very different?

The f208 are bigger than the studio 30 in cabinet size and drivers. Tho they weigh roughly the same 35 vs36 kg. Consequently the f208 have more of the same , if you like.

I would imagine the revel 206 are more similar to the studio 30 in sound.

I'm sure the F208's have a big soundstage too.

I should mention that I've previously owned Revels as well (the original Gems and Studios) and both were magnificent.

Judging from what I've read, I expect the Falcons are worthy transducers too.

They are too big for me, I'm afraid. In case you hadn't worked out, I'm after the LS3/5a's instead!

GLWTS - it's a good price considering they are virtually new.

Item Condition: Great for age few blemishes. Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available.,Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Perth State: Western Australia Payment Method: Paypal, cash, EFT Reason for selling: No use -or need   Extra Info: this is one heavy amp but utterly refined.

Its a beast of an amp and was one of the best in its day.

A genuine 100 w/channel let’s this amp drive any speaker I have had with both finesse and authority Hooked up to my Magneplanars it created a deep and wide sound stage getting the last ounce of bass from the notoriously difficult to drive panels.

This amp can still hold its own with more modern high end amplifiers.  When it was first launched, it created quite a stir with numerous good reviews in the popular magazines.

I am not the original owner but I know a little of its history: it appears to have been driving Maggie’s for a large part of its life and it is still going strong.

I don’t have the ordinal box or paperwork, but it will be posted very securely.

Dont hesitate to contact me for more information if you are interested.

In a very undecided stage of my audio career so considering budgets, quality of gear , requirements.  Might go without a pre for a while or try tube options. This has been without a doubt the best pre I have owned including my Gryphon Sonata.

Also have Goldmund Telos 200 mono blocks for sale in mint condition - hardly unused as were part of 6 amp active system.

Item Condition: 98-100 Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available.,Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Perth State: Western Australia Payment Method: Paypal, cash, EFT Reason for selling: No need to keep - upgraded  Stunning looking and more importantly sounding cd / dac/  combo. can be used as a pre amp too. Its so good its a German killing giant slayer of some magnitude.   Freight included in price to Australia main cities.

German quality at its best, top of the range dac and belt driven transport, there is something magical about a belt driven CD player. it just works, it is so musical and fun and brings a smile to your cd collection as you discover things that you just have not heard before.

Simply one of the best analogue CD players I have heard to date, and many others think the same, a truly magical musical combination using the property Superlink 4 ways cabling system to the matching dac . Selling only as a pair will not split , Have 3 cd players so each gets very little use. I am the second owner and the were 13000 or more RRP in Australia. It can serve as a preamplifier to and be linked directly to your power amp or mono blocks. This has seen off or matched far more expensive CD players from Esoteric, Tube Audio Company and Audio Research.

Original boxes and one remote to control the pairing. About 3-4 4 years old. Price is firm as you simply cannot buy a better combo for the money. It also looks awesome on its own or in the rack. I have made a big jump up to beat this combo and if it doesn't sell it will happily stay as my 2nd CD/ DAC .Have original boxes so can freight safely.

The belt driven CD transport for use with an external DAC only, without analog outputs.
The highest grade analog record players share both a belt drive and high inertia. And not without reason, for this is the only way to create a turntable with perfectly smooth rotation and tranquillity. A patented belt drive with high inertia, in the form of an acrylic-stabilizer, applies this principle to B.M.C.'s BDCD1.1 CD Belt Drive Player/Transport.
Industry leading sound and build quality.

      DAC1 - Digital / Analog Converter
The B.M.C. Audio DAC 1 is not only a digital-to-analog converter, it serves as a preamplifier and the control center of a consistent B.M.C. chain.
The DAC1 features also a high resolution USB input and B.M.C.'s propietary Superlink connection for the B.M.C. belt drive CD player.

Item: Acoustic Energy AE1 Reference Classic - Limited Edition 100 pairs - these are going up and escalating in value as only 100 pairs were made worldwide. Pair serial number 165/166.

In the Uk they are going for 1500 or more pounds. Unused since I bought them and I believe they were unused before then, they are a true collectors item, I have original Ae2's and stands so am releasing these for someone else to treasure.  They are exceptionally rare and an appreciating asset.

      Can ship in original boxes.

Extra Info: Possibly a very high chance that these are the only set in Australia as only 100 of these limited edition speakers were sold worldwide in the final ever production of the AE1. Similar in theory to the original BBC broadcast speakers like the Rogers LS3/5a, however the AE1s have a higher power rating. (150w @ 8ohm) Below are Acoustic Energy's words:

      Reference Series
The whole design history of Acoustic Energy begins with the AE1 launched in 1987. Since then there has always been an AE1 in the range and in 2006, the original AE1 returned to production. This complements our Reference range of speakers which have been designed to combine everything we know about loudspeaker design into products that are the very best we have ever made.
      AE1 Classic
      The ultimate mini-monitor.
It’s 30 years since the AE1 Reference first wowed reviewers and became the audio-industry benchmark for compact loudspeaker design. To celebrate the AE1 was relaunched in 2006 in its completely original form. Designed from the outset as a semi-professional monitor, painstaking attention to detail in the design and construction of cabinets, crossovers and baffles ensure the new AE1 Classic reproduces complex, dynamic material as faithful as the award winning original.
Despite its diminutive size the AE1 Classic offers the soundstage, depth and breadth of much larger loudspeakers thanks to its innovative metal drivers and reflex ported cabinet. The extremely rigid design and high power handling creates a sophisticated blend of clarity, speed and dynamics that once again sets the standard for small box loudspeakers in both the studio and the home.
      AE1 Classic Limited Edition
In celebration of the final production run of one of the UK’s most iconic loudspeakers, there will be a limited edition final production run of the award winning AE1 Classic loudspeaker. Just 100 numbered pairs of the AE1 Classic Limited Edition speakers have been produced.
In addition to the luxurious Piano gloss, each unit is finished with gold plated bolts and feature a matching gold plated Limited Edition plaque with serial and edition numbers on the back of each speaker.
Famed for its acoustic design based on the original AE1, the AE1 Classic LE will retain the same instantly recognisable twin front ported cabinet, spun aluminium cone and 25mm magnesium alloy dome tweeter and offer the same sweet, detailed and engaging sound. The decision to end the life of this highly renowned audio gem is derived from some of the bespoke parts no longer being made available to AE.

Item Condition: As new Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available.,Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Perth State: Western Australia Payment Method: Paypal, cash, EFT Reason for selling: No use -or need   Siltech speaker cables are the at the pinnacle of all cables and RRP was 12000 new and these represent as a bargain at more than 70 percent off. Between these , my Entreq and my Townshend Fractal cables there is not a lot in it , all valued about the same price but each with their own nuances. If these or the Entreq sell first I will keep the others. Though these being bi wired are better for a new home.

Cable actually has blocks of sliver and gold that the royal mint will but built into it allegedly.

These are astonishingly good cables that give fantastic bass impact and just heaps of resolution. If you have a high resolution setup, these are sensational and you have to try.

The Siltech pure silver/gold metallurgy and x-balanced construction really lives up to the claims of being the world's best. If you cannot hear the difference these make, you need hearing assistance.

These cables retail at $12,000 a pair. They are 2m long ( suited to monoblock setup or short runs), and ready for bi-wiring. They also have the upgraded pure silver-gold Siltech SSP003 spades. They don't come much better than these. Original packaging included.
