Further information: I bought this unit last year from Bill Mclean and it has been a revelation. It is a great pre amp at least as good as the Audible Illusion 3A that I have owned in the past.  I used it with an Ayre V-3 power amp (also for sale) and it was an awesome combination. But as always happens, I heard a system that was a small but noticeable improvement over that combination, albeit at a significant price hike, so therefore I need to sell. I have cut and pasted the information below from a previous advertisement and there are plenty of reviews out there on various forums.

I have the original box, and the unit is supplied with two power cables (one with the ground lifted) and remote. Please note this unit does not have the optional phono stage.

I paid $4000 for this preamp less than a year ago - now half price.

The pictures in this advertisement are of the unit being sold.

dont hesitate to contact me for additional information.

Bargain!

For those not familiar with these, there's a HT bypass.

IMO these also benefit from tube rolling some of the better NOS 6922s and equivalents.

The preamp currently has gold lion tubes fitted, I preferred them to the original tube complement.

Good move! I'm not a fan of the standard Electroharmonics.
